POLLY HARRAR
Polly has been a supporter of Y-E -L since 2008.

With a background in Equality & Diversity, Marketing and Public Affairs she began her career within the legal sector which led to roles at the Commission for Racial Equality and the London Development Agency. In 2007 she set up Polly Harrar Consultancy working with ethical businesses I then worked at EUK as Ethnic Minority Campaigner and later as Project Manager, promoting enterprise across the UK

In 2008 she founded The Sharan Project, a charity which supports women who have been disowned/left home by providing support & information towards successful independent living without fear, Polly is an executive member of the Women’s Interfaith Network, and was instrumental in the development of a 6 week project at Holloway Prison to address the differences in faiths and embrace the commonalities faced by women in society.
